Beach Zamalin, Croatia
Beach character
The beach's defining feature is its straight, 280-meter shoreline, with a width of 10 meters. The predominant surface is concrete, though sections of pebble and rocky terrain exist further along the shore. Natural shade from surrounding hills provides relief from the sun, though visitors should note the sharp depth increase near the water's edge. The seabed combines sand and pebbles, creating varied conditions for swimming and snorkeling. This mix of features makes it particularly suitable for children, with several reviewers highlighting its accessibility for families.Swimming and shore
The beach's mixed seabed of sand and pebbles creates a dynamic swimming experience. While the water is consistently described as clear and clean in reviews, the sharp depth increase near the shore requires caution, especially for young swimmers. Snorkeling is popular due to the visibility, though the concrete surface and pebble areas may affect comfort. The beach's orientation provides natural shade from the mountains, though sun protection is still recommended during peak hours.Facilities and activities
Basic facilities include public toilets, which reviewers describe as clean and accessible. Water access points are available, though the beach's concrete surface may require water shoes for comfort. The beach supports a range of activities: stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), surfing, snorkeling, and general water entertainment. Nearby, food options exist but are limited in variety, with some visitors noting higher-than-expected prices.Access and location

Tünde Mária Ortó appreciated the beach's length and variety of surfaces, though noted the need to venture further for less crowded spots. Ana Marija Cazin described the beach itself as '5 stars' but noted food options as '4 stars' due to limited variety and higher prices.

Reviews
It's a lovely beach. A little bit dirty on the entrance but still great. There are toilets and parking spaces. It's street parking for a fee which is reasonable but be aware that they patrol this are very frequently and you get a ticket quicker than you think even if you only are a few minutes late. Take you water shoes because there a a lot of sea urchins here!!! Lots of natural shade.
Great place for a swim crystaline clear water places to stretch out in the sun or shade neat food place near by, only drawback finding parking as its very popular for all ages and sizes.
A long beach, so you can choose the place of your liking. You have concrete, pebble, and rocky part. It’s quite crowded, but if you’re willing to go a little farther, you can find a nice spot. It’s good for everyone, because of the variety of the beach. There’s also a public toilet, ehich was very clean. The only downside is you have to pay for parking. I would highly recommend! :)
Nice beach for swimming and snorkeling. Water is very clear, clean and has excellent quality. There are showers and WCs if needed. Not much variety of food to choose from and prices are double overpriced. Beach itself is 5 stars, but everything else is 4 stars. Šibenik-Knin
