Babin Laz II Beach in Supetar, Croatia – A Tranquil Cove Experience
Beach character
The beach’s defining feature is its cove shape, bordered by rocky outcrops and a landscape of low-lying mountains. The shoreline consists of beige pebbles, with light sand patches noted in the center by some visitors. The sea floor is similarly pebbly, and the depth increases gradually, offering a moderate swimming experience. The beach’s cleanliness is consistently reported as good, though its size limits capacity, resulting in a moderate crowd index during peak season.Swimming and shore
Swimming conditions are generally favorable, with the moderate depth allowing for safe entry. The pebbly shore may pose challenges for young children, but the beach’s sheltered cove offers calm waters. One reviewer highlighted the clarity of the sea, describing it as having 'splendid shades.' The shoreline lacks structured amenities, though a few benches and a waste bin are present, as noted in visitor accounts.Facilities and activities
There are no formal amenities such as showers, toilets, or changing rooms. The beach relies on minimal infrastructure, with visitors reporting only a waste bin and a handful of benches. Activities are informal, with snorkeling and swimming being the primary pursuits. No structured rentals or guided tours are listed, though the beach’s natural setting invites spontaneous exploration.Access and location

Another noted the 'tranquility' and 'splendid shades' of the sea. These observations highlight the beach’s appeal alongside its need for clearer communication about local rules.Practical tips

Reviews
It was a lovely little beach with clean waters. Not too crowded either. Highly recommend!
Really very pretty little bay with gravel, rocks and even light sand in the centre. Easy parking along the street. Only waste bin and a few benches. Few people and a lot of tranquility. Water with splendid shades 💙
Very nice for swimming and snorkeling. Great for children. Unfortunately we were spoken to stupidly because we had a dog with us. However, I didn't see any signs or notices saying dogs weren't allowed and I couldn't find anything online either. We then sat down on the rocks, where you could just as easily get into the water. jurislav hrzic
